COURSE DESCRIPTION
Curious about Artificial Intelligence but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly course will help you confidently use AI tools to improve productivity, communication, study, research and everyday tasks.
Delivered in a hands-on computer lab environment, you'll learn how to use leading AI platforms including ChatGPT, NotebookLM and Perplexity to write emails, summarise information, organise ideas, conduct research, create simple AI-generated images and plan projects more efficiently.
Designed for complete beginners, this practical course focuses on real-world applications rather than technical concepts or coding. You'll build confidence through guided activities, demonstrations and practical exercises that you can immediately apply at work, in your studies, or at home.
By the end of the course, you'll have the skills to use AI safely, write effective prompts, evaluate AI-generated information and confidently integrate AI into your everyday life.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Parramatta Community College.
