COURSE DESCRIPTION

Turn your business ideas into reality with the BSB40320 Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business. This qualification is designed for individuals looking to start, manage or grow a business, whether through self-employment, freelancing or launching a new venture within an organisation.

Students will develop practical business and entrepreneurial skills to plan, problem-solve, and make informed business decisions in a changing business environment. On successful completion, students will receive the BSB40320 Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business.

DELIVERY AND ASSESSMENT

Training is delivered face-to-face at Western Sydney Skills Hub, North Parramatta, with trainer-led and self-paced learning activities.

Learning methods include classroom activities, simulations, role plays, group discussions, and industry-based scenarios.

Assessments may include:

  • Projects and written reports
  • Role plays and presentations
  • Portfolio and workbook activities
  • Knowledge questions and practical tasks

REQUIREMENTS

There are no formal entry requirements. However, students should have basic language, literacy, numeracy, and computer skills to complete assessments.

Learner materials are provided. Access to a computer and internet is required for study, research and assessment tasks.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)

If you already have relevant work experience or prior training, you may be eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer. Please contact the college before enrolling to discuss your options.

GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY
